Cowan, McGonigal lead Potters to title
EAST LIVERPOOL — Juniors Paige Cowan and Alanna McGonigal won individual titles in leading host East Liverpool to the team title at the Queen of the Hill Tournament on Sunday.
Cowan captured the 130-pound title after winning at 120 pounds last year, while McGonigal claimed the 170-pount title.
The Potters topped the 25-team tournament with 163 points. New Philadelphia was third with 150 and defending champion West Branch was third with 140 points.
