EAST LIVERPOOL -- Martins Ferry downed East Liverpool, 71-54, Saturday.
Anthony Booth led Martins Ferry with a game-high 30 points, including at least six points in every quarter.
Dre'Keim Abercrombie topped the Potters with 25 points. Ben Myers added eight points.
The Purple Riders improve to 3-3 overall, while the Potters drop to 4-3.
East Liverpool will host Youngstown Mooney on Tuesday.

St. Clairsville 60, Beaver Local 52
ST. CLAIRSVILLE -- Beaver Local suffered its first loss of the season, falling 60-52 to St. Clairsville on Saturday.
The Beavers are 7-1, while the Red Devils improve to 6-1.
St. Clairsville jumped out to a 17-9 lead in the first quarter before Beaver Local rallied to take a 38-37 lead.
The Beavers will play at West Branch on Tuesday. The Beavers will try to avenge a 58-55 loss to the Warriors last season.

GIRLS
Beaver Local 53, Brooke 28
WELLSBURG, W.Va. -- Bella McLevey and Brylee Curtis each scored 14 points in leading Beaver Local past Brooke, 53-28, Saturday.
Mallory Miller added nine points, four assists and four steals and Gianna Congrove eight rebounds and three assists. Macie Bourne grabbed nine rebounds and Curtis six.
The Beavers are 4-6 and will host Harrison Central today. Brooke lost its third in a row to fall to 2-5.
Beaver Local put the game away with a 17-7 run in the fourth quarter, highlighted by two three-pointers from McLevey and another by Congrove.
Beaver Local also won two-quarter junior varsity game, 16-7. Mercedes McCullough led the Beavers with seven points and Jansen Ours added four.

EAST PALESTINE -- Jacklyn Ogle had 13 points and five steals to guide East Palestine past Liberty, 37-27, Saturday.
Ogle scored all 11 of the Bulldogs' points in the second quarter as they took a 21-9 lead.
Violet Glavan and Amara Wilson each had eight points and five rebounds. Desiney Burtyk grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
The Bulldogs improve to 4-6 and will play at Toronto at 6 p.m. today.
Liberty lost its fourth in a row to drop to 2-4.
