To the editor: A response to your editorial printed Friday, January 20, 2023 titled ‘Not in My Backyard’ Approach Hypocritical is warranted because the facts about industrial-sized solar projects being proposed in Ohio need to be provided to the good citizens of Columbiana County. To the editor: I had the pleasure last Saturday morning of attending and watching a well-organized youth basketball league for player development in Salem. Coaches and parents were on hand providing encouragement and the basic fundamentals and skills for the game of basketball. A good crowd on hand to cheer on the young players. To the citizens of Columbiana County: I wanted to let you know we recently completed our 2022 reappraisal which is mandated by the State of Ohio to be completed every six years (O.R.C. 5713.01.) To the editor: Although I have only been on the Columbiana Park Board for several months, I have long been aware of the benefits of the Little Beaver Creek Greenway Trail, Scenic Vista Park and Hellbender Park in Madison Township.
