To the editor: I am writing this letter to encourage all fellow Ohioans to vote No on Issue 1. Issue 1 is an attempt to limit the voice and power of the average voter. Regardless of your politics we all can agree that everyone’s vote counts equally. That would end if Issue 1 passes. Issue 1 raises the bar on the average citizen to require 60% for victory. To the editor: We are urging county voters to vote “NO” on Issue 1! This is in response to the letter to the editor by Columbiana County Republican Chairman David Johnson. He states that Ohio’s Constitution is in danger of being compromised by out-of-state interests. When in fact, voting “NO” on Issue 1 will safeguard Ohio’s Constitution. To the editor: I have somewhat gotten a more “peaceful feeling” since our Congress and “the man in the White House,” through “many tough negotiations,” averted a national debt ceiling crisis. To the editor: Staying abreast of the recent railroad tragedy and knowing some of the citizens affected in East Palestine, I recently read in “The Review” about the legal clinic held by the River Valley Organizing, Timothea Deeter, to assist residents. Dear Editor: I am urging county voters to vote “yes” on Issue One in the upcoming special election of August 8th (early voting beginning July 11th) if only to protect Ohio’s state constitution from out of state special interests like that of leftist billionaire George Soros.
