WELLSBURG — Patricia Ann Wiersbicki-Church, 70, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away February 3, 2022. Born April 24,1951 in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Sophie (Anderson) Wiersbicki. She attended the Abundant Life Baptist Church of Triadelphia. Surviving are her two brothers, George (Maxine) Wiersbicki of New Cumberland and Ed (Linda) Wiersbicki of New Manchester; a sister Rosalie (Lee) Detar of Pittsburgh; and three nephews, Erik, Chris and Mark. Elsie M. Gates, 90, of Wellsville, Ohio, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, following a lengthy illness. Elsie was born in Irondale, Ohio on September 13, 1931, the daughter of the late Jerry and Blanche (Murray) Smith. Elsie married Clarence “Jack” Gates on August 16, 1952 and spent 32 years with him until his death in 1988.
