Harry H. ‘Buzzy’ Johnson III

WELLSVILLE — Harry H. Johnson III, affectionately known as “Buzzy,” passed away on Feb. 11, 2026, at Select Speciality Hospital in Canton, Ohio. Born on Jan. 19, 1964, in Cleveland, Ohio, Buzzy was 62 years old at his time of passing.

A lifelong resident of the area, Buzzy graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1983 and was an avid wrestler. Though challenged by a disabling accident at a young age, he remained a well-loved figure in the community. For over three decades, Buzzy proudly held membership with Eagles Post 772, beginning in 1990, where he formed lasting friendships and connections.

Buzzy was preceded in death by his parents, Harry H. and Geneva (Powell) Johnson. He leaves behind his beloved sister, Korinna Sue Moore, of Salem, along with several cherished nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the MacLean Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation, 509 Riverside Ave., Wellsville. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026 at 11 a.m. Buzzy will be laid to rest at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Buzzy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
