Kenneth G. McCune

Kenneth G. McCune, 45, of East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away on July 3, 2025, in Los Angeles, Calif. Born on July 27, 1979, in Lawton, Okla., Ken was a vibrant presence known for his outgoing personality and passion for travel. He had a remarkable ability to make everyone around him laugh with his witty sense of humor.

Ken spent his career in hotel management, where he was appreciated for his dedication and leadership skills. Beyond his professional life, Ken’s hobbies included spending leisurely days by the pool, visiting casinos, and enjoying his favorite dessert, tiramisu.

Ken was deeply cherished by his family and friends. He is survived by his father, Thomas R. McCune Sr.; sisters, Jennifer McCune, Jamie McCune Davis, Heather Burnham, and Barbie Burnham Lutton (Gary); along with many loving nieces and nephews including Nathan McCune (Jazz), Christopher Davis Jr. (Shayla), Kaylin Davis, Traden Davis (Payton), Kenneth McCune, My’ana McCune, Christian Basa, Ryan Cu, Kiaya Mitchell (Zay), Alec Post, and Callie Burnham; great-nephews, TJ and Remington, and his cat Toast.

Ken was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Heiney; stepmother, Edith McCune; and siblings, Thomas R McCune Jr., Terry Ann McCune, and Tracy McCune.

His loving nature was not just confined to his family and friends; he loved helping people, a trait that endeared him to all.

Ken’s life was a testament to the joy and laughter he brought into the world, and his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
