Jude Mercer Jude Mercer has been selected as Scholar of the Month for January at East Liverpool High School. Jude is the son of Suzanne and John Mercer. Jude ranks in the top 20% of his senior class with a GPA of 3.686, taking a combination of Advanced Placement and College Credit Plus courses. Deadline for submitting applications for seniors in designated high schools to be eligible for inclusion in the Lou Holtz Life Improvement Scholarship Program for continuing their educations at a two-year vocational school has been set at March 27 for consideration in 2021-22. Now in its twenty-second year, 10 annual scholarships of $5,000 in each of the two years is funded by Coach Lou Holtz and his late wife, Beth, and are payable at confirmed enrollment by the chosen institution.
