Sheriff Reports — Deputies were dispatched at 5:43 p.m. Tuesday to West Main Street, New Waterford, for a domestic violence report. One party involved left the residence. — A Minerva man reported at 4:01 p.m. Tuesday that he needed a report, per his attorney, that he purchased a camper from a Vienna woman for $11,000 on Aug. 2 at Timashamie Campground, Georgetown Road, Butler Township, and now she’s refusing to turn over the title, stating that he owes her $4,000 more.

Sheriff’s Office — Deputies were dispatched at 1:15 a.m. Aug. 9 for a person walking in the middle of the roadway on state Route 45 near U.S. Route 30. A man was located who said he was participating in the Buckeye 200 foot race and there were several others doing the same in the area. He said he was not the one deputies were looking for, however, the person they were seeking was transported by race officials due to medical reasons. The man was told he was free to continue.
