— A woman on state Route 39, Washington Township, reported at 11:44 p.m. Thursday that her neighbor was slandering her over her horse walking with a limp. She was advised to contact an attorney.

— A deputy was dispatched at 10:57 p.m. Thursday to a residence on Wayne Bridge Road, Center Township, for an open 911 line. The homeowner said everything was fine.

— A person from Reed Street, Alliance called at 5:29 p.m. Thursday to report a person from Hartley Road, Knox Township stole a pair of their tennis shoes from their Alliance residence. The person was told to contact Alliance Police since they live in Alliance’s jurisdiction.

— Columbiana County Child Protective Services called at 4:02 p.m. Thursday to request a deputy go to a residence on Glasgow Road, Madison Township to see if a woman who’s not supposed to be there is actually there. The deputy was unable to make contact with anyone at the residence.

— A woman on Emerick Road, Franklin Township reported at 11:49 a.m. Thursday that her neighbor has a chicken farm and they are dumping dead chickens on the property line. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources was contacted and will be handling the incident.

— A woman on Kirk Road, Fairfield Township reported 11:20 p.m. Wednesday that her daughter from Salem called and left her unwanted voicemails.

— A deputy was dispatched at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday to a Lisa Lane residence, Center Township, for a domestic violence report. All parties involved signed a refusal.

— A man on Black Road, Center Township called at 8:04 p.m. Wednesday to request a welfare check on his daughter at a residence on Steubenville Pike Road, Center Township due to her asking for help. A deputy went to the residence but was unable to make contact with anyone.

— A deputy was dispatched at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday to Rochester Road, West Township for a person making suicidal threats. The person was transported to a hospital in Stark County by family members.

— A woman from Y & O Road, Madison Township requested a report on file at 2:46 p.m. Wednesday per her attorney that her husband changed the locks to the residence before the divorce was filed.

— Deputies were dispatched at 2:46 a.m. Saturday to Water Street, Salineville for a welfare check on a woman. Dispatch advised the caller was Veteran Crisis Line, who received a third-party call with limited information on the woman. Deputies spoke with the homeowner who said they did not know the woman and she did not live there.

— An alarm was reported at 1:41 a.m. Saturday at the maintenance building at the Rogers Flea Market and Auctions, old state Route 154, Elkrun Township. All doors were secure.
