St. Clair Township
— A female who was reported to be slumped over the steering wheel of her car on Birch Road on Feb. 3 told officers she had gotten stuck in the snow, and someone was on their way to get her out.
— Officers found Advance Auto on St. Clair Avenue secure after investigating an alarm on Feb. 3.
— An officer who saw a male sleeping in his vehicle at a gas pump at Sheetz on Feb. 4, was told by the male he had a headache and was trying to sleep it off before driving home.
— Officers notified Ohio State Highway Patrol of a deer versus car crash on state Route 11 on Feb. 4 since it happened outside of the department’s jurisdiction.
— Due to an officer receiving an emergency call during a Feb. 4 traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue for a driver going 52 mph in 25-mph zone, the officer released the driver with a warning.
— A female filed a report on Feb. 5 regarding a phone she had ordered was supposed to be delivered on that day, but she didn’t get it. She said she got an email from FedEx which contained a photo of it being delivered and an unreadable signature.
— Ryan Smith, 32, address not provided, was arrested, issued a citation for driving under the influence and released with a court date following a Feb. 5 traffic stop on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road after he was observed by an officer to drive across the center line and then jerk back into the lane of travel. Officers found open containers in his vehicle, conducted a field sobriety test, and Smith chose to provide a urine sample.
— Officers responding to a report of a reckless driver who pulled off state Route 170 into KFC on Feb. 5, discovered the driver to be having a medical issue and called Northstar. After being placed in the ambulance, the driver refused treatment and was picked up by a family member.
— An officer helped guide a female down Ridge Road and get her vehicle turned around on Feb. 5 after she told him she was from out of town and was trying to get to work. The officer then escorted her to work.
— An officer sent on Feb. 6 to Lyle Street, spoke with a male who said he was traveling east on Y&O Road when he hit a pot hole on Lyle Street which caused the right rear tire of his truck to pop and the rim was damaged. The driver said he wanted a report on file and the county to pay for the damages. The county road crew was called, and Glenmoor Volunteer Fire Department responded and placed a cone in the middle of the pothole.
— An officer conducted a welfare check on Echo Dell Road on Feb. 6 with no contact made.
— An officer did a walk through with a key holder at Giant Eagle on Feb. 6 after responding to an alarm. Nothing was found to be out of place.
— An officer dispatched to a Milbourne Avenue residence on Feb. 6 to assist Northstar with a combative person with mental problems discovered the person had never been at that house.
— An officer spoke with a male at Hill International after arriving to investigate an alarm on Feb.7. The male said they were working on his truck, and he pulled the door to go in and speak with them not knowing they were gone for the day.
— An officer found the VA Clinic to be secure after investigating an alarm on Feb. 7.
— A driver was given a warning for no visible plate following a Feb. 7 traffic stop on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road.
— Amanda Bidwel, 22, address not provided, was arrested and charged with petty theft after admitting to stealing $450 from a co-worker on Feb.8.
— Candace Shuman was issued a citation for failing to stop for a red light following a Feb. 8 traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue.
— Officers found a Y&O Road business to be secure after investigating an alarm on Feb. 9
— A driver was issued a warning for two white lights coming from the back of his vehicle following a Feb. 10 traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue.
— A male who reported he was being harassed by another male who was following him on his dirt bike and yelling at him was told a report would be on file for when he goes to court with the male who was chasing him after the officer saw a video of someone following him on Feb. 10 on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road.
— An officer conducted a follow up investigation on Feb. 10 on an orange Jeep for a previous Walmart theft that arrived to pick up a current theft subject.
— Cade Orourke was issued a citation for speed of54 mph in a 25-mph zone and a warning for a brake/turn signal/taillight violation following a Feb. 10 traffic stop on state Route 170.
— An officer filed a report for a Feb. 10 private property crash at Giant Eagle.
— Ginger Crum, 47, address not provided, was charged with theft and released with a summons for failing to pay for $344.28 worth of items at Walmart on Feb. 10.
— Officers spoke with a female at a Summit Drive residence who called on Feb. 10 to report a white truck parked in front of her apartment and told her the truck was a utility truck and was supposed to be there.
— Officer conducted an investigation at Alpha Care on Feb. 10 for someone possibly inside the building after an employee called and said that she heard laughing from inside the locked building. Officers found the noise to be coming from a radio that had been left on.
— Daniel Johnson, 49, address not provided, was placed in custody and transported to the East Liverpool Police Department after he refused to be taken to the hospital when officers responded to a complaint of him driving recklessly and driving his truck over a hill on Bell School Road on Feb. 11. Due to his condition with him nearly falling over, officers determined it was not safe to do field sobriety testing. Johnson, who had admitted drinking to the officers, refused to provide a breath sample and according to officers, was unable to understand directions during a 20-minute observation. He was transported to the police department for booking and then to the Columbiana County Jail.

— A woman on Timber Run Street, Unity Township reported at 4:19 p.m. Tuesday that $1,000 was withdrawn from her account without her consent. She wanted a report on file, per her bank.
— A woman on Bayard Road, West Township called at 2:38 p.m. Tuesday to report ongoing issues with a neighbor throwing dog feces on their vehicles and at their garage door.
— A Pittsburgh, Pa. man called at 7:30 p.m. Saturday to request a welfare check on his 2-year-old grandson who resides with his father at a residence on McDonald Road, Madison Township, due to being unable to make contact by telephone. A deputy spoke with the homeowner who said the person in question doesn’t live there anymore.
— A deputy returned a call regarding a stolen vehicle at 5:46 p.m. Saturday on Cherry Street, Washingtonville. Upon speaking with the caller the deputy was told the vehicle is no longer missing.
— A man on state Route 172, Hanover Township, reported at 5:32 p.m. Saturday that his property is next to Twin Springs Golf Course and trees were being cut down on his property. He was advised to contact an attorney.
— A juvenile-related issue was reported at 5:27 p.m. Saturday at Guilford Lake on Camp Boulevard, Hanover Township. The caller reported the location of the juvenile and the deputy made contact with the juvenile and his father, advising the father of the situation. He said he would take care of it and the caller was advised everything was handled.
— A woman on Plymouth Street, Hanoverton reported at 5:13 p.m. Feb. 13 that her neighbor continuously harasses her by yelling at her, taking down her no trespassing signs and driving his vehicle onto her property. She was advised how to file for a protection order.
— A man on Trinity Church Road, Center Township reported at noon Feb. 13 that someone was trying to use his Social Security number.
— A woman on Slater Road, Butler Township reported at 11:34 a.m. Feb. 13 that she made a check out to Discover for $1,400.70 and mailed it from the Salem Post Office in Salem and someone cashed the check at Bank of America.
— A hit-skip was reported at 10:29 a.m. Feb. 13 at the Y-Inn on state Route 7, Rogers. A deputy advised the complainant how to proceed.
— Deputies were dispatched at 10:30 p.m. Feb. 12 to Campbell Road, Hanover Township for a domestic dispute between multiple family members. They all separated for the night and were advised how to obtain a protection order.
— A deputy at 9:34 p.m. Feb. 12 returned a call regarding a protection order violation on Kelly Park Road, Fairfield Township. Charges will be filed against the violator due to violating the protection order.
— A parking complaint was reported at 3:22 p.m. Feb. 12 in an alley between Sprucevale Road and Pancake Clarkson Road. A deputy spoke to all parties involved. The issue was resolved.
