Sheriff Reports

— A juvenile-related report was taken at 5:07 p.m. Thursday on Depot Street, Rogers.

— A man on Morris Road, Elkrun Township reported at 4:06 p.m. Thursday that he wa living on another man’s property and was served with an eviction notice from the property owner to leave the property. The eviction process was explained to him.

— A deputy at 3:47 p.m. Thursday assisted the Columbiana County Dog Warden at a residence on Speidel Road, Hanover Township, due to a man’s dogs leaving his propery and going to the neighbor’s property and killing 20 chickens.

— A woman on state Route 170, Middleton Township, reported at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday that her ex-finance, whom she lives with, was posting statements on social media about having a bedroom for rent to any child molester and he had a female for sale. She was advised to contact Facebook and make a complaint.

— An alarm was reported at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday at Dollar General, state Route 172, Hanover Township. All doors and windows were secure at ground level.

— A woman on Steubenville Pike Road, Center Township, reported at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday that she’s having custody issues with her child’s father of Akron, who isn’t following the court order.

— Deputies were dispatched at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday to Zep’s Pizza and More at Pinky’s, state Route 172, Hanover Township, for a 10-year-old child sitting inside a vehicle by themselves. Deputies located the juvenile and spoke with the mother who was also present inside the vehicle. They were waiting for their food to be ready.

— Deputies were dispatched at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday to a property on Canal Street, West Township, for a domestic violence report involving multiple family members and a firearm present. No family members wanted to press charges and some left the residence.

— John A. White, Campbell Road, Hanoverton, was charged with theft after a deputy was dispatched at 7:15 p.m. Feb. 6 to Hull’s Super Duper, state Route 172, Hanover Township, for a theft report.
