Sheriff’s Office
— A deputy was dispatched at 4:24 p.m. Tuesday to the 5700 block of Lower Elkton Road, Fairfield Township, for a person walking in the roadway covered up by a blanket. Nobody was found.
— A deputy was dispatched at 3:21 p.m. Tuesday to the area of Westville Lake Road at Georgetown Road, Knox Township for construction vehicles going to and from the construction of the new Dollar General, causing a traffic hazard. Upon arrival, the construction vehicles were gone for the day.
— A disturbance with people screaming was reported on U.S. Route 62, Knox Township at 11:44 p.m. Saturday. Deputies spoke to the homeowner and observed multiple people there. The homeowner said everything was fine and she was having a Halloween Party.
— A man on Case Road, Knox Township, reported at 9:25 p.m. Saturday that multiple people in a white Audi vehicle were driving at a high rate of speed up and down the roadway. A deputy checked the area, but didn’t find anyone.
