Liverpool Township

— Christopher Valentine (age and address not provided) was issued a mandatory court date for suspended license and expired tags and a citation for his exhaust following a Sept. 27 traffic stop on Anderson Boulevard.

— Gavin Brown (age and address not provided) who was issued a warning for a loud exhaust and citations for no turn signal within 100 feet of a turn and no license was told by an officer he could have someone with a valid license come pick up his vehicle following a Sept. 28 traffic stop on Rubicon Street. The car was released to a valid driver.

Wellsville

— CMHA filed a report against a resident in the Independence Square Apartments after security footage revealed the resident who called to complain about an outdoor radon pipe leaking had taken a branch and struck the pipe multiple times until a hole appeared in the pipe. (Report does not say if charges were filed)

East Liverpool

— An officer marked a vehicle that was parked in a two-hour parking zone on Market Street, for observation on Sept. 24. When the officer returned to check on the vehicle it was gone.

— A female came to the police department on Sept. 24 to report a possible domestic violence incident at a Cadmus Street residence. Officers spoke with both parties involved. Officers did not see any signs of physical violence. Both parties inquired about how to get a restraining order against the other one.

— An officer was advised by the police captain that he had received a parking complaint regarding a vehicle on Market Street parked in a two-hour zone and had marked the vehicle for observation. The officer checked the vehicle over two hours later issued a citation for extended parking.

— An officer checked the area of Center Street on Sept. 24 for a dirt bike a complaint was called in on and was unable to locate it.

— Officers arrived at a Dresden Avenue business for an alarm on Sept. 24 and spoke with a worker who told them she was unsure why the alarm was going off.

— Officers checked a 6th Street building with an alarm going off on Sept. 24 and found the building to be secure.

— Officers checked the area of N. Shadylane for a person reported to be knocking on doors but found no one.

— Officers searched an E 5th Street house on Sept. 24 for intruders reported to be in there by a resident, but found no one there.

— Officers questioned a customer at Giant Eagle about how he came into possession of a counterfeit $100 bill after it was reported by a Giant Eagle employee on Sept. 24.

St. Clair Township

— Officers checked state Route 11 south on Sept. 24 for a branch reported in the roadway and removed it.

— A driver was issued a verbal warning for no visible license plate light following a Sept. 24 traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue. The driver told the officer he just got the car and working on finding and fixing the odd and end items wrong with it.

— A driver was given a verbal warning for being observed driving through the closed portion of Calcutta Smith Ferry Road during a Sept. 24 traffic stop on East Liverpool Road.

— A driver was issued a verbal warning for driving over the fog line on state Route 170 during a Sept. 24 traffic stop.

Sheriff Reports

–Deputies responded to a noise complaint reported at 12:09 a.m. Tuesday in the 11000 block of state Route 644, Hanover Township. The area was checked and deputies didn’t hear any of the reported noise.

— Deputies were dispatched at 11:53 p.m. Monday to an address on state Route 154, Elkrun Township due to some social media posts on a person’s pages. Deputies spoke with the person and their spouse at the home and explained the reason for the visit and reviewed the person’s social media with their permission. It was advised the person has a doctor’s appointment and will stay off of social media.

— A deputy at 4:42 p.m. Monday returned a call regarding lost property.

— A man on state Route 165, Unity Township reported at 9 p.m. Saturday that a vehicle pulled into his driveway and multiple people were screaming. While deputies were en route, he called back and said his roommate and another man were arguing with the driver. Deputies arrived and spoke with the driver, who was leaving, and all parties involved and learned the disagreement had been worked out.

— A deputy responded at 5:42 p.m. Oct. 1 to the Travelers Inn, state Route 45, Lisbon regarding suicidal threats. The person advised they were not suicidal and the deputy found the person in good health. Later in the day, the deputy responded again and the person had taken pills. EMS was notified, responded and took the person to the hospital.

— A civil matter was reported at 6:50 p.m. Sept. 30 on Hazel Run Road, Washington Township. Both parties came to an agreement.
