— Thomas Powell, address unknown, was served at 6:42 p.m. Aug. 23 on a fugitive from justice warrant on state Route 7 just past the state Route 45 exit, as a result of a routine license plate check.

— Angela McCarthy, address unknown, was cited at 11:23 p.m. Aug. 27 for speeding on state Route 7 at the bottom of Campground.

— Jonathan Robinson, address unknown, was cited at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 27 on state Route 7 near the Wellsville exit with speeding and no operator’s license. He did have several warrants but was out of pickup radius. The vehicle was released to its owner.

— Cory Blankenship, address unknown, was cited at 5:59 p.m. Aug. 27 near Pennsylvania and Parkway avenue with no operator’s license and loud exhaust.

— Eric Campbell, address unknown, was cited at 11:18 a.m. Aug. 29 near state Route 7 and Campground Road for speeding.

— Payton Bero, address unknown, was cited at 12:10 p.m. Aug. 29 in the area of state Route 7 and the Vista Motel with speeding.

— Haelee Vantilburg, address unknown, was cited at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 29 near Thompson Park with not having a licensed driver present while driving with a learner’s permit.

— Dominic Seaman, address unknown, was cited at 5 p.m. Aug. 29 for expired license on state Route 7, after a random license plate check.

— John Joy, address unknown, was cited at 6 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 1500 block of Shadyside Avenue for driving under suspension. His passenger Ronnie Delguzzo was served with an active warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office.

— David W. Bailey III, address unknown, was cited at 10:44 a.m. Aug. 30 on Boring Lane for speeding.

— Alexandria Smith, address unknown, was cited at 6:58 p.m. Aug. 30 on Kountz Ave. for expired plates.

— Michael Burton, address unknown, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 30 on charges of drug paraphernalia, no operator’s license and a marked lanes’ violation near the Route 7 and Kountz Ave. switch. After having a K-9 do a free air sniff on the vehicle, the dog alerted and a search produced several metal smoking devices with filtered burnt ends. A scale also was found under the front driver’s seat and a white rock-like substance was found in a white container under the front passenger floor mat.

— Joshua Ocel, address unknown, was cited at 6:04 a.m. Sept. 1 for speeding near Shadyside and state Route 7, after a routine traffic stop.

— Dawn Ford, address unknown was cited at 10:18 a.m. Sept. 1 for speeding on state Route 7.

— Steven Conkle, address unknown, was cited at 10:50 a.m. Sept. 1 for speeding on Campground Road.

Sheriff Reports

— A man from Oregon called at 6:02 p.m. Tuesday to request a welfare check on another man who resides on Washington Street, Washingtonville due to him not answering his phone for several days. A deputy spoke with the other man, who said his phone was out of service. The deputy contacted the Oregon man by phone and the other man spoke with him.

–A man on Case Road, Knox Township, reported at 10:54 p.m. Saturday that his ex-fiance was refusing to leave his property after being told several times to leave. While a deputy was en route, he was told to disregard because the woman had left in her vehicle.

— Justin Burr, address unknown, was arrested at 9:18 p.m. Aug. 21 on charges of strangulation and domestic violence, after he allegedly attempted to choke a member of his household during a dispute in front of children in the 900 block of Riverside.

— Tyrone Davis, address unknown, was arrested at 8:37 p.m. Aug. 12 on a charge of domestic violence, after he allegedly struck someone during a property dispute in the 600 block of 15th Street.

— Labrea Kisner, address unknown, was cited at 8:10 p.m. Aug. 12 on state Route 7 near the Third Street exit ramp with speeding, driving under suspension and fictitious plates. When she learned that her vehicle was going to be towed due to her illegal driving status, she became belligerent.

— Chase McDonald, address unknown, was charged at 3:11 p.m. Aug. 19 with aggravated menacing, as a result of several threatening texts he sent to his girlfriend’s grandmother.

— James R. Anslover, of Massillon, was arrested Aug. 10 for trespassing and two counts of obstruction.

— Gary J. Behanna, of Newell was arrested Aug. 11 on a grand larceny charge.

— Cheryl A. Behanna, of Newell, was arrested Aug. 11 on possession of cocaine and methamphetamine.
