Sheriff’s Office
— Deputies checked the area of Smith Road and Third Street in Summitville after receiving a call at 8:48 p.m. Thursday regarding a suspicious vehicle, but nothing was found in the immediate and surrounding areas.
— A deputy at 7:26 p.m. Wednesday attempted to return a call from a resident on Grant Street, Center Township, regarding neighbor troubles. The deputy was sent to the caller’s voicemail on all attempts.
— The manager at Dollar General, state Route 172, Hanover Township reported at 6:21 p.m. Wednesday that a woman was in the parking lot crying and she was with two men by a black Dodge truck. Deputies spoke with the two men, one from Wellsville and one from Center Township, who were working on the truck trying to get it to start. Both said the woman sitting in the vehicle was fine, but has some mental health issues. Deputies spoke with the woman, of Hanover Township, who said she was fine.
— A deputy attempted to return a call at 5:43 p.m. Monday regarding threats or harassment in the area of U.S. Route 62 in Butler Township, with the deputy sent to the caller’s voicemail on all attempts to make contact.
