Sheriff’s Office
— Deputies were dispatched at 4:27 p.m. Thursday to a residence on state Route 7, Fairfield Township, for a juvenile-related report. The report was sent to Columbiana County child protective services.
— Deputies responded at 3:51 p.m. Thursday to Gilson Road, Butler Township for a domestic violence report between a father and son. A refusal was signed.
— A deputy was dispatched at 8:33 p.m. Wednesday to Lisa Lane, Center Township, for a person intoxicated, making suicidal threats and who allegedly took multiple amounts of medication. Hanover Township EMS transported the person to Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem.
— A suspicious vehicle was reported at 6:56 p.m. July 24 at Christian Fellowship Church, Rochester Road, West Township. A deputy made contact with the driver, who said he pulled over due to not feeling well from the heat and his vehicle having no air conditioning. EMS checked the person and cleared him. He was heading home.
— A deputy at 5:13 p.m. July 24 conducted a welfare check on Township Line Road, Wellsville, where contact was made with the new homeowner of the residence. The homeowner knew the person, but advised he no longer lives in Ohio.
— A medical incident was reported at 9:28 p.m. July 23 on Kirk Road, Fairfield Township, where a person was confused and unable to speak clearly at first. He eventually become more aware and the deputy and his wife kept asking questions to keep him awake until EMS arrived. EMS arrived and he was taken to a hospital to be checked.
— A possible overdose was reported at 10:30 p.m. July 17 in the area of Elkton Road near Rollercoaster Road. Deputies were met by EMS who said they checked two people and cleared them and the third person fled on foot. The two people checked out refused medical treatment and were free to leave. Deputies checked the immediate and surrounding areas for the third person, but didn’t find anyone.
