Highway Patrol
— Jacob Andrews, of state Route 170 in East Palestine, was cited at 9:09 p.m. March 19 for the marked lanes violation in Fairfield Township. Andrews went off the right side of state Route 46 while eastbound and struck a mailbox, culvert and yard.
— J’mon Brown Wells, of the Alliance Police Department, was cited at 7:01 p.m. March 22 in Perry Township. Wells, who was eastbound on state Route 14 in pursuit of a fleeing vehicle with the department’s barely marked traffic car with sirens and lights on failed to yield to a red light, entering the intersection and was struck by James Weaver, of Canton.
— Lowell Fisher, of state Route 7 in New Waterford, was cited at 4:23 p.m. March 25 in Fairfield Township for secure load, after his vehicle dropped a wood plank on the vehicle of Thomas Beer, of Plymouth Place in Hanoverton, when he attempted to pass him on state Route 7.
— No citations have been issued as of yet in conjunction with an incident in Salem Township. Bryan Cooper, of East Third St. in Salem, was southwest bound on state Route 558 when a northeast bound silver compact car traveled left of center, causing Cooper to swerve to avoid him and ditching his vehicle. The other vehicle then fled the scene.
— Jarret Lee Martin, of state Route 172 in East Rochester, was cited at 2:47 p.m. March 29 in Salem Township for failure to maintain an assured clear distance, after rear ending a vehicle driven by Ella Marie Shasheen, on state Route 154 in Lisbon, while traveling on TR778.
— Shelly Baumgartner, of Homeworth Road in Alliance, was cited at 2:06 p.m. March 27 for a marked lanes violation, after going left of center when turning left from Homeworth Road onto Hartley Road and hitting a vehicle driven by John DiGenova, also of Homeworth Road in Alliance, head on.

— David Ritchie, of New Cumberland, was served March 1 with a capias warrant.
— Austin Young, of Newell, was served with warrants for three possession of controlled substance and a single count of person prohibited to possess a firearm.
— Tyler Teeter, of Carrollton, was arrested March 4 for DUI and leaving the scene.
— Michael Preston, of Langeloth, Pa., was served March 4 with a fugitive from justice warrant.
— Zachary Law, of Weirton, was arrested March 4 for domestic assault.
— Michele Ware, of New Cumberland, was arrested March 13 for domestic battery.
— Mary Shroades, of East Liverpool, was arrested March 17 for petit larceny.
— Ashley Kukich, of Weirton, was arrested March 17 on charges of public intoxication and possession of methamphetamine.
— Thomas Charles, of Ambridge, Pa., was arrested March 20 on four PDV violations.
— Donals Williams, of New Cumberland, was served March 22 with a failure to appear warrant.
— Ashley Corder, of Chester, was arrested March 22 on public intoxication and obstructing official business as well as served with a capias warrant.
— Judd Pickett, of Dayton, was served March 27 with a fugitive from justice warrant.
— Bryan Cottrill, of Weirton, was arrested March 27 with his third DUI, public intoxication, trespassing and disorderly conduct.
Sheriff’s Office
— A state Route 164, Fairfield Township resident reported at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday that a 13-year-old male was staggering in the roadway on Grafton Road, just south of state Route 558, Salem Township. A deputy checked the area, but didn’t find anyone.
— A deputy was dispatched to Buck Road, Knox Township for an open 911 line at 8:46 p.m. March 29. The homeowner said his Apple Watch called 911 and everything was fine.
— A woman on Winona Road, Butler Township reported at 5:49 p.m. March 29 that she received a phone call from a male claiming to be from Ohio Edison. When she refused to answer some of the questions, the male made threats towards her. She was advised to contact customer services at Ohio Edison.
— A man on Mattix Road, Center Township, reported at 3:40 p.m. March 29 that he has a dog with no collar or tags contained on his property after the dog attacked and killed his chickens. He requested a report on file. Dispatch contacted the Columbiana County dog warden.
