Columbiana County Common Pleas

LISBON — Dacious D. Coles, 23, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty in Common Pleas Court on Tuesday to resisting arrest and carrying a concealed weapon. He faces up to 21-months incarceration and a $5,750 fine. Two additional charges of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and obstructing official business will be dismissed at the time of sentencing, which is set for Dec. 2. Coles had fought with officers attempting to arrest him in Wellsville on June 6 and had a loaded nine-millimeter handgun at the time.

Susan I. Pritt, 35, Sixth Street, Wellsville, pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of drugs with a forfeiture specification. She faces up to a year in prison, a five-year license suspension and a $2,500 fine on each count. Pritt had fentanyl and cocaine, as well as $1,445 in drug-related funds on May 4, 2018. Prior to that, on March 27, 2017, Pritt also was found with fentanyl. Sentencing is set for Nov. 18.

Brandon J. Zepernick, 26, Buffalo Road, Kensington, stipulated to violating his community control for failure to meet financial requirements. His community control was dishonorably terminated. Zepernick was on community control for pleading guilty to a trafficking in drugs on March 11, 2017 for selling heroin to a confidential informant in Salem for $40 on Nov. 26, 2013.

Brian L. Jeffers, 32, North Pleasant Drive, East Palestine, stipulated to violating his community control for failure to meet financial requirements. His community control was dishonorably terminated. Jeffers was on community control for pleading guilty to a possession of marijuana and possession of drugs charge on March 31, 2016. The charges were for anabolic steroids as well as more than 200 grams of marijuana on Dec. 27, 2014.

Lajuan Q. Clinkscale, 29, Girard, stipulated to violating his intervention plan, which he was placed on after pleading guilty to attempted tampering with evidence and possession of drugs. It was determined his intervention plan will continue until March 14, 2023. Clinkscale threw a baggie of crack cocaine out the window of a vehicle on May 26, 2017.
