East Liverpool council committee discusses ELFD carbon monoxide incident
EAST LIVERPOOL — While operations have returned to normal at the East Liverpool Fire Department after Monday’s carbon monoxide incident sent seven people to the hospital, multiple operations procedures and policies have been changed or are undergoing revisions. Fire Chief Antony Cumo noted that carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors have been installed at central station and the propane generator that caused the incident has been removed and won’t be used again.
