St. Clair Township trustees approve transient vendor license for solar company

CALCUTTA — St. Clair Township trustees Monday night approved a transient vendor license for a solar company to go door-to-door. The 90-day permit approved for Trinity Solar, based in New Jersey, allows the company to do door-to-door sales of solar panels for residential property owners. Trustee Robert Swickard said since they went through the required process, he doesn’t know how they can deny the request since they did follow all the rules. Trustee Jordan Williams agreed with him.
