Sheriff’s Office — Deputies responded to the 7000 block Rose Drive in Center Township at 8:45 a.m. Sunday in reference to a woman having mental health issues and wanted to be transported to a hospital. — Deputies responded to a 4000 block Butler Grange Road home in Butler Township at 3:29 a.m. Sunday in reference to an assault. CALCUTTA — The St. Clair Township trustees Monday approved the resignation of a police officer. Trustees accepted the resignation of patrol officer Matthew Greenlief effective June 23. Greenlief joined the St. Clair Township Police Department in July 2025. Chief Brian McKenzie said that Greenlief accepted another position and that he is a good officer.
