Congressman Michael Rulli, first elected in June 2024 to the U.S. House, faces one Republican opponent in the primary, with six Democrats seeking that party’s nomination in the 6th District. Rulli, of Salem, won a special election in June 2024 for an unexpired term representing the district and then was elected to a full two-year term in November 2024. FAIRFIELD TWP. (WKBN) — Crews responded to an incident at a local energy company on Monday. Firefighters were at Hilcorp Energy Company on Fairfield School Road. Officials with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources said that a “tank incident” happened at 11:18 a.m. at the Fairfield-Unkefer pad owned by Hilcorp. LISBON —A jury trial is now set for 8:30 a.m. July 13 for an Illinois man charged for allegedly possessing images of child pornography after being caught in a sex-for-hire sting in 2024.
