LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP — The Liverpool Township trustees Tuesday approved a resolution of necessity requesting the county auditor to certify tax valuation information in anticipation of a levy in excess of the ten-mill limitation. Two injured in roll over crash in Liverpool Township

LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP — Two sisters were injured Tuesday morning during a roll over crash on Westfield Road in Liverpool Township. Details as to what may have caused the crash which occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m., were not provided. The vehicles airbags deployed, but it is unknown if seatbelts were worn. Wellsville fire chief asks to resume talks on transferring dispatch services

WELLSVILLE – The Wellsville fire chief is looking to resume talks about transferring dispatch services to the county 911 center. Fire Chief Barry Podwel recently told village council he would like to resume discussion of transferring dispatch services from the fire department to Columbiana County 911. Podwel has been encouraging the switch for the past several months due to a lack of available responders. Appeal of vicious designation for second dog in attack dropped

LISBON — The owner of the second dog accused of attacking and seriously injuring a woman on May 15 at Lake Tomahawk dropped her appeal over the vicious dog designation against her dog, Beau, last week. County park board approves 2027 proposed budget

LISBON — The Columbiana County Park District Board approved next year’s proposed budget totaling $86,350, hired a second seasonal maintenance worker and approved a roof repair contract during a special meeting Monday. “Our biggest expenses are utilities, employees and port-a-jons,” Chairman Tom Butch said, along with maintenance.
