LISBON — The 7th District Court of Appeals recently upheld the conviction of Elvin EJ Tisdale, who was sentenced last year to life in prison without the possibility of parole for killing Brycen Douglas in 2021. The ruling said Elvin EJ Tisdale received a fair trial, with the appellate court overruling all six errors claimed by the defense and affirming the trial court’s judgment. Wellsville to look into injunction against data center

WELLSVILLE — Village council is considering an injunction to stop a proposed data center in Yellow Creek Township. Council has asked village solicitor Chris Weeda to research the options on what steps need to be taken to file the injunction. EAST LIVERPOOL — Mayor Bobby Smith told the East Liverpool City Council during Monday’s council meeting that it was going to be a busy week in the city, with the setting and unveiling of the Revolutionary War Monument at the corner of Sixth and Washington streets.
