Salineville Kiwanis Student of the Month

SALINEVILLE – Southern Local High School senior Haylee Kellogg has been lauded as the Salineville Kiwanis Student of the Month for September.
Kellogg, the daughter of Chad and Nikki Kellogg of Salineville, has demonstrated exemplary academic and athletic achievement throughout her high school career. She is currently ranked fifth in her class and holds a 4.086 GPA.
She is a four-year letter winner in volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, and band and a three-year letter winner in track and field. Additionally, she has been involved in Drama Club, Pep Band, student council, Varsity Club, and the College Credit Plus program during her time at SLHS. Kellogg is also a two-year member of the honors band, a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), as well as senior class president. She is active in the community band, works concession stands and various youth sporting events, plus she is employed at B&S Country Carryout.
After high school, she plans to attend Kent State University where she will major in biology. Kellogg hopes to attain a master’s degree and enter medical school to eventually become an orthopedic doctor.
