Toddle Time at EL library

The Carnegie Public Library of East Liverpool is holding Toddle Time every Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Community Room at the library. This program is for children ages birth to 36 months. No sign-up is necessary. The library is also having Preschool Story Time every Monday at 6 p.m. in the Community Room. There is no sign-up for this program.

PIPP applications

The Community Action Agency of Columbiana County (CAA) will be taking applications for the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP plus) at the Lisbon office located at 7860 Lincole Place (rear). Appointments can be made by calling 330-424-4013. All appointments will be face-to-face appointments for energy assistance at this location. All applications during this time will be completed at the agency. Applications for PIPP and HEAP can be filled out online at www.energyhelp.ohio.gov. Applicants will need to set up an account to complete the online application. Applicants need to ensure required documents are available to upload during the application process. Choose To Lose Group

Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on October 14 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.

Pam Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasure report. Both were approved as read.

Tassy Everett was the CTLG biggest loser. Jean Ferrebee had three weeks weight loss.

The no no’s are chips. Tassy Everett won the calorie charts, Wanda Price won the Share The Blessing.

Cassie Stephens, Jean Ferrebee, and Tassy Everett got to Put A Pig In The Pen.

Wanda Price was the winner of the No Fibbing Contest.

Cassie Stephens and Pam Fouse are putting together a laundry basket full of paper products. The name will be pulled on November 4.
