Lose meets

Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on July 22 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.

Pam Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasure report. Both were approved as read.

Carolyn Hager was the Pearl’s biggest loser, Jean Ferrebee was the Diamonds biggest loser, and Wanda Prices was the officers biggest loser. Diamonds in leeway are Jean Ferrebee, Dottie Seevers, and JoAnn Beresford.

Cassie Stephens won the calorie charts, Jean Ferrebee won the dimes, and Carolyn Hager won the Share The Blessing.

Wanda Price, Jean Ferrebee, and Carolyn Hager got to Put A Pig In The Pen.

Winners of the No Fibbing Contest are Jean Ferrebee, Cassie Stephens, and Wanda Prices. New numbers were drawn for the following week # 7.

The no no’s are white bread and frozen tootsie rolls.

Wanda Price weight recorder, birthday was coming up and the members surprised her with an early birthday party after the meeting.

Penny Perorazio closed the meeting with prayer requests followed by the Lord’s Prayer. New and former members are always welcome. For more information call 330-383-8217.

WLC Club

meetings held

The WLC Club met in July 7 at the Living Well Church with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with roll call and then Mary Schmidt led the group in prayer.

The best loser was Gladys Buzzard and Barb Tranter and they both wore the officers ribbons.

Diane Carnegie won the challenge and Connie Hissam won the 50/50 drawing.

Hissam also was the caterpillar winner for the month of June.

Jarvis closed the meeting wishing all a good week.

The WLC Club met on July 15 at Living Well Church in Wellsville with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with roll call and then Mary Schmidt led the group in prayer. Donna Lee had six weeks with no weight gain and received a tea towel.

Linda Seevers returned from vacation with a weight loss.

The Nono for the week is potato chips.

Barb Tranter won the 50/50 drawing.

The picnic will be on Aug. 12 at Sally Workman’s home.

The menu will be decided at a later date.

Jarvis closed both meetings wishing all a good week.
