The members of the East Liverpool Fire Department do in-house weekly training to practice and keep their skills sharp or acclimate newer members. The firefighters spent Thursday afternoon between calls for service practicing with rescue equipment such as air hoses, the jaws of life and air packs used for lifting vehicles, heavy equipment or other heavy items a victim may be trapped under.
