LISBON – The 2024 Hoppel’s Championship Rodeo has a new addition to this year’s lineup: Kyler “BamBam” Collins. Known for bringing fun and excitement to rodeos from Ohio to Florida and from North Carolina to Oklahoma, BamBam is set to entertain and thrill the crowd with his unique and energetic performances.

Carrying on his father’s legacy–a gold card member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association as a bullfighter–Kyler has a lifetime of rodeo experience and will present his signature Billy Wonka Act.

Thrilling Rodeo Action

for the Whole Family

The annual Hoppel’s Championship Rodeo presents two nights of thrilling rodeo action that’s fun for the whole family. Sanctioned by the IPRA and APRA, the event showcases top cowboys and cowgirls from across the country competing in eight exciting events, including Bull Riding, Bronc Riding, Roping, Steer Wrestling, and Barrel Racing. These talented contestants are battling for a spot at the prestigious International Finals Rodeo in January 2025.

Event Highlights

— Dates: July 5 and 6

— Time: Gates open at 5 p.m. Rodeo starts at 7 p.m.

— Location: Hoppel’s Arena, Lisbon

— Tickets: Advance tickets are $15 at East Liverpool and Calcutta Giant Eagle, Wellsville Save-A-Lot, East Palestine Sparkle, Lisbon Dairy Queen, and Eventbrite.com. Gate ticket prices are $20 for adults and $15 for children (3-12 years old).

Special Nights

— July 5–Veteran’s Night: All veterans are our honored guests and will be admitted free with a military ID. While supplies last, veterans will receive a Mission BBQ coupon. As a special tribute, Operation Flags of Freedom will present a patriotic display of OLD GLORY. Ben Kellogg, a skydiver from Skydive Rick’s in New Galilee, Pa., will land in the area carrying the American flag, which will be given to a veteran in attendance, Fire Performers: Forest Flows & Pharaoh.

— July 6–Pink Out Night: Support Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing pink for the Tough Enough to Wear Pink Campaign. While supplies last, everyone wearing pink will receive a free TETWP jelly bracelet. The evening will feature a Dreaming of Three (DO3) Rodeo Kid and Fire Performers: Forest Flows and Pharaoh.
