Wellsville Moving Forward to host annual Christmas in the Village Craft Vendor Show
WELLSVILLE — Planning is underway for The Wellsville Christmas in the Village Craft Vendor Show to be held on Dec. 16 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Wellsville Alumni Center, 201 3rd St.
While the craft vendor show/festival has reached maxed capacity for vendors, Moving Wellsville Forward is still accepting sponsors for the event. The only requirement to be a sponsor is a donation. Businesses or residents interested in being an event sponsor can contact John Morrow by email at johnrichardmorrow@gmail.com.
The event, which has been hosted by Moving Wellsville Forward since 2017 to help area families for Christmas, will feature over 20 craft and merchandise vendors.
Local musician Bill Crawford will perform Christmas music from noon to 2 p.m.
The event will have a Kids Christmas Movie-a-thon from 2 to 5 p.m., which will show The Grinch, Charlie Brown Christmas and Rudolph.
Children will be able to make their own Christmas decorations and participate in a coloring contest.
Although it has not been determined whether he will be in attendance throughout the entire event or just for a certain amount of time, Santa Claus will be making an appearance.
The alumni committee will be serving food throughout the event.
There will be an Ohio Lottery Scratch Wreath for a lucky door prize winner and a Chinese Auction.
Tickets are 20 for $5 and include a ticket for the door prize. There will also be a 50/50 drawing.
The drawing for all prizes will take place at 5 p.m. Winners do not need to be present. Winners not present will be contacted by phone and will be able to pick up their prize at the alumni center until 8 p.m., the night of the event, or schedule a pickup for another time.
Attendees are asked to bring a new toy to donate for the Eyes on Wellsville’s annual Christmas Toy Drive.
