Giant Eagle recalls roasted turkey sold in prepared foods

PITTSBURGH – Giant Eagle, Inc., has issued a voluntary recall of roasted turkey items produced at Fresh Foods Manufacturing in Freedom, Pennsylvania and sold in the prepared foods departments in Giant Eagle and Market District locations across western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia and Indiana due to the potential presence of metal fragments. EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool City Hospital a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation was awarded an “A” Hospital Safety Grade for the 17th consecutive grading round by The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety.
