OSU Student Send-Off Picnic Set for Aug. 13 The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Columbiana County will hold its annual Summer Student Send-Off Picnic on Thursday, Aug. 13 at Pavilion 4, Firestone Park, Columbiana. Meet and greet is at 5:30 p.m. with a catered meal at 6 p.m. All alumni and their families, incoming freshman and current OSU students and their families as well as friends of OSU are invited. Tops 1341 holds meeting

GLENMOOR — Tops 1341 met Monday, July 20, at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church with Leader Mary Gailey presiding. The meeting started with pledges. The Best Loser was Darlene Naukam and the Runner Up was Patty Gruszecki. They chose pie and no eating after dinner as this week’s junk foods. The drawing winners were: 50/50, Pat Allison; Food Chart, Naukam; Weight Loss, Gruszecki; Junk Food, Gailey. Gailey was also three weeks in the Best Loser’s Book.
