OSU Student Send-Off Picnic Set for Aug. 13
The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Columbiana County will hold its annual Summer Student Send-Off Picnic on Thursday, Aug. 13 at Pavilion 4, Firestone Park, Columbiana. Meet and greet is at 5:30 p.m. with a catered meal at 6 p.m. All alumni and their families, incoming freshman and current OSU students and their families as well as friends of OSU are invited. All OSU students in attendance will be entered in a drawing for two $250 door prizes. Non-student adults are asked for a donation to offset event costs. River Museum to host Civil War program
On Sunday, Aug. 2, retired East Liverpool Attorney and Civil War enthusiast, Tim Brookes, will present a program on the Civil War at the River Museum in Wellsville. The museum is open 1 to 4:30 p.m. and the program is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
