Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center resident Artist Rosh Raines honored

MIDLAND, Pa. – Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center resident Artist Rosh Raines has been honored as the recipient of the 2026 Rob Zellers Award for Excellence in Arts Education. This

award recognizes educators who demonstrate outstanding commitment to arts education through the Pittsburgh Public Theater’s Shakespeare Scene and Monologue Contest. Raines will be presented with the award on Monday, Feb. 23 at the O’Reilly Theater during the Showcase of Finalists.

The award is named for Rob Zellers, who in his role as the education director at Pittsburgh

Public Theater for 20 years, has created numerous programs and worked with thousands of students in acting, technical theater, and playwriting, bringing the artists of the Public Theater together with the community.

“I am incredibly honored to be receiving this award,” said Raines. “I do not teach alone and would like to thank all the theatre teachers at the Charter School for all they do. Receiving this reward is very humbling and I express my appreciation to the Pittsburgh Public Theater for providing the opportunity for our students to perform Shakespeare.”
