Cierra Hale is Oak Glen High School’s Lions Scholar of the Month for March
CIERRA HALE
CHESTER –Cierra Hale, 18, daughter of John and Beth Hale and sister of Samantha and Caraline Hale of New Manchester, is Oak Glen High School’s Lions Scholar of the Month for March 2022.
Cierra was elected senior class president. She is a member of the National Honor Society (2 years), Pep Club (4 years), Art Club (3 years), and Culture Club (3 years).
Cierra was a part of the 2021 girls state-qualifying soccer team which captured OVAC regional and sectional championships. Cierra has been a part of Oak Glen’s Little Theater since she was a freshmen and has performed in many shows including: “The Wizard of Oz,” “Edward Tulane,” “Dracula,” and was “Miss Hannigan” in the production of “Annie”
Cierra will take the stage a final time as “Pugsley” in the upcoming production of “The Addams Family.”
As a senior, Cierra was one of nine girls selected to represent Hancock County at Rhododendron Girl’s State.
Cierra was selected to represent her junior class as a member of the 2022 Prom Court, and her senior class as a member of the 2022 Homecoming Court and Sadies Court. Cierra is a part of the prom and homecoming committees.
She has helped better her community by completing over 30-plus community service hours in the last two years. She also maintains a job at Hale’s High Street Kitchen and has taken numerous college courses throughout high school.
After completing high school, she plans to further her education at West Virginia University studying fashion and journalism.
