Katie and Andrew Ketchum

EAST LIVERPOOL – Katie Lynn Simms of East Liverpool and Andrew Scott Ketchum of Wellsville, were united in marriage on Aug. 30, 2013 at the Saxon Club in Salem.

The wedding was officiated by Rev. will Montgomery of the Church of Christ in Calcutta.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Phoebe Simms of East Liverpool, and the granddaughter of Monnah Weese and Dolores Simms both of East Liverpool.

The groom is the son of Jeff and Maria Ketchum of Wellsville, and the grandson of Harold and Elaine Vandyke, also of Wellsville.

The bride wore a white strapless corset satin gown featuring a sweetheart neckline with beaded lace appliques and Tulle underlay, and was trimmed in a truffle satin belt and corset laces.

Danielle Simms, sister of the bride served as matron of honor. She wore a Malibu blue strapless knee length dress with a truffle satin belt. Bridesmaids were Rhonda Leslie, Amanda Blancer, Shannon Wells and Sami Staggers. Their dresses were strapless truffle colored knee length with orange satin belts.

Joe Ketchum, brother of the groom served as best man. He wore a Malibu blue shirt, truffle colored vest and blue jeans. Groomsmen were Allan Buzzard, Jeremy Coil, Chris Sheville, and Kevin Beagle. They wore orange colored shirts, truffle colored vests and blue jeans.

The bride graduated from Kent State from the Occupational Therapy Program.

The groom is employed by V&M Star in Youngstown.

The couple honeymooned in Gatlinburgh, Tenn. and reside in Wellsville.
