KSU summer graduates

KENT – Kent State University recently conferred degrees to summer graduates during virtual commencement exercises Aug. 15. The university awarded 228 associate degrees, 616 bachelor’s degrees and 351 graduate degrees to students. Of the 351 bachelor’s degree students graduating with academic honors, 31 earned summa cum laude distinction with a 3.8 to 4.0 grade point average, while 107 were magna cum laude (3.60 to 3.79) and 68 were cum laude (3.3 to 3.59). KENT — A total of 344 Kent State University full-time students were named to the Dean’s List for superior academic achievement during the 2020 Summer semester. Of the full-time students named to the Dean’s List, 10 were also named to the President’s List, in recognition of an extremely high level of academic achievement. To be named to the Dean’s List, full-time students must have achieved a grade point average of 3.40 or greater and must have completed 12 or more letter-graded credit hours.
