State Route 164 closure rescheduled Due to weather the closure of state Route 164 has been rescheduled to start March 9 for 40 days just south of state Route 39 in the village of Salineville for a culvert replacement project. The detour is state Route 524 north to state Route 39 east, state Route 39 east to state Route 164, and reverse. The overall project completion date is July 31; however, the closure must be completed by May 22.

YMCA collecting items for raffle The East Liverpool Downtown YMCA is collecting items for an Easter tote bag raffle to raise funds for an HVAC system at the facility. Items requested for the tote include picnic items, gift cards, scratch-off tickets and Easter goodies. Donations will be accepted through March 13. Tickets for the raffle are $5 each or three for $10 and be purchased at the Downtown YMCA. The drawing will be held on April 1. For information email angelaymca1964@gmail.com.
