OSU Alumni Club scholarships Local high school seniors considering attending The Ohio State University in the fall are reminded the OSU Alumni Club of Columbiana County offers five competitive $1,000 scholarships. To apply for one of these scholarships the student must have applied to the university and have a student ID number. Application is made through the OSU financial aid website, Scholarship Universe. Free community meal

Catholic Charities Senior Center, 600 E. Fourth St., East Liverpool, will be offering a free meal to community members on Tuesday, Jan. 27 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. All members of the community are invited to come by and enjoy the meal. Additionally, the center is available for anyone to drop by from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Fridays to warm up, have a cup of coffee, and find out what community resources are available. Madison Township trustees have established their meeting schedule for 2026. Regular meetings will be held at 6 p.m. in the township hall on the first and third Wednesday of each month, with the next meeting to be held Jan. 21.
