Chester Garden Club holds meeting

CHESTER – The Chester Garden Club held its first meeting of the year on March 25 at the Chester Municipal Building. Ki Trelaine conducted the meeting in the absence of President Jeanne Roberts. Devotions Leader Donna Stevens read “The Legend of the Folded Napkin”and gave the prayer/blessing before refreshments were served. Mary Ann Wright gave the treasurer’s report. Members made plans for this year’s flowers for planters along Carolina Avenue. Paige Rayle, Kat Rossi, and Trelaine agreed to handle the selection and purchasing of the flowers. Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on March 31 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.
