Beaver Local students receive honors

The Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award Program was established by the Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA) to promote and recognize outstanding academic achievement. One senior from the county in Ohio receives this annual honor and Zach Redman has been nominated as Beaver Local High School’s representative. Johnson reappointed to workers’ comp board

WLC Club The WLC Club met on April 21 at the Living Well Church, with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with the pledge and Connie Hissam leading group in prayer. Jarvis took roll call. Gladys Buzzard was the best loser and she also wore the officers ribbon. Buzzard also had three weeks in a row weight loss. Nancy Hart won the dimes and Barb Tranter won the 50/50 drawing.
