Major League Baseball's team owners unanimously have approved the sale of the San Diego Padres to an investor group led by private equity billionaire José E. Feliciano and his wife and business partner, Kwanza Jones. The league announced the approval Monday after a vote. Firefighter injured in Liverpool Township structure fire

LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP- A firefighter who fell through the floor while battling a structure fire at 126 Forsyth Place on Monday night was injured but is okay, Fire Chief Jacob Russell said. The firefighter was taken to the hospital just to be checked out. East Liverpool Fire Department along with Glenmoor and Calcutta volunteer fire departments were on the scene providing mutual aid with West Point and Wellsville volunteer fire departments on standby. One dead in East Liverpool house fire: Police

EAST LIVERPOOL (WKBN) – Firefighters responded to a house fire in East Liverpool early Tuesday morning. East Liverpool Police Chief John Lane said that one person died in the fire. Crews responded to the 2000 block of Ohio Avenue around 2 a.m. The State Fire Marshal is at the scene investigating. No other information was provided by firefighters or police at this time.
