LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP- A firefighter who fell through the floor while battling a structure fire at 126 Forsyth Place on Monday night was injured but is okay, Fire Chief Jacob Russell said. The firefighter was taken to the hospital just to be checked out.
East Liverpool Fire Department along with Glenmoor and Calcutta volunteer fire departments were on the scene providing mutual aid with West Point and Wellsville volunteer fire departments on standby.
The Ohio fire marshal has been called in to investigate.
Firefighters who were called out at approximately 7:30 p.m. were still on scene around 9:30 p.m.
