Brightside Project lends a hand

EAST LIVERPOOL- The Brightside Project, a non-profit organization funded primarily by donations, stopped at the East Liverpool Carnegie Public Library on Wednesday to provide local children with needed items.
The Brightside Project served 182 children who boarded the bus to pick out healthy snacks, hygiene products, books and other items which they placed into the bags provided to them.
The Brightside Project’s motto is equipping and empowering children. Other programs offered by the organization for children include Backpacks for Kids, Bright Christmas, Bright Easter, Coats for Kids, Crisis Relief, Food for Kids, Imagination Library, Sunny Sunshine and Youth Summit.
