SALINEVILLE — Southern Local High School senior Lindzie Keyes has been selected as the Salineville Kiwanis Student of the Month for December.

Keyes, the daughter of Christopher and Annette Keyes of East Liverpool, is ranked seventh in her class with a 4.16 grade point average. She has maintained straight As throughout high school and is actively involved with the National Honor Society, Spanish Club and Art Club. She is also a member of the Southern Local Choir and attends the House of Prayer Church.

Upon graduation, Keyes plans to further her education at Kent State University and major in radiology. She eventually hopes to specialize in trauma and become an X-ray technician.
