CALCUTTA -- Beaver Local’s boys soccer team raced past East Liverpool with a 7-0 win on Tuesday in the first game of a boy-girl doubleheader.
The Beavers are now 7-0 and have only given up six goals this season.
Deacon Brown and Kaden Mays had two goals each for the winners. Brody Nign, Cael Dunn and Logan Roberts each had goals as well.
Brandon Smith, Mays, Lucas Price, Nign and Roberts had assists. Cole Long had three saves in goal.
Beaver Local hosts Steubenville on Thursday.
East Liverpool is 1-4-1 and hosts Oak Glen on Sept. 15.

CALCUTTA -- Beaver Local’s girls soccer team blanked East Liverpool 6-0 on Tuesday in the second match of a boy-girl doubleheader.
Beaver Local is 6-1 and hosts Steubenville on Monday.
East Liverpool (1-6) will play at Oak Glen on Thursday.
COLUMBIANA 6, EDISON 0
COLUMBIANA -- Columbiana extended its perfect start to six games with a 6-0 win over Edison on Tuesday.
Rocco Mediate had four goals and an assist for the Clippers, 6-0. Jay Harrington and Geoffrey Malcolmson had a goal and assist each. Oliver Cuff and Jayden Minamyer each had an assist.
Beckett Wilson had six saves in goal.
The Clippers are at Warren JFK on Saturday.
ST. CLAIRSVILLE 3, OAK GLEN 1
ST. CLAIRSVILLE -- St. Clairsville proved to be a thorn in Oak Glen’s side with a 3-1 girls soccer win on Tuesday.
Oak Glen fell to 5-2, while the Red Devils are 7-2.
Oak Glen hosts East Liverpool on Thursday.
