BRIDGEPORT -- Aleena Owens and Kenzie Bosco combined for 25 kills in leading Wellsville past Bridgeport, 25-10, 21-25, 25-23, 25-21, Monday.
Owens totaled 13 kills, eight digs, 11 assists and two aces and Bosco had 12 kills, 10 digs and three aces.
Madie Drysdale contributed nine kills, four digs, two assists and six aces; Ella Betz 16 digs and aces; Jonnah Sears two kills, five digs, 17 assists and five aces; Gabby Carr two kills, 10 digs and two aces; Irelyn Roberts one kill.
Wellsville will play at Southern Local on Thursday.

SALINEVILLE -- The Southern Local volleyball opened the season Monday with a 25-15, 25-15, 25-21 loss to Toronto.
For the Indians, Delaney Beadnell had eight points and nine assists, Natalia Lopez six points and two kills, Katie Kellogg eight kills, Kalayah Crute two kills, Addy Martin five digs and Kiah Sloan two blocks.
Toronto also won the junior varsity match, 25-13, 25-19.
Mary Beadnell had six points and two kills for Southern. Teagan Reed added four points and Eliana Forbes four assists.
Southern will host Columbiana today with the junior varsity match at 5:30 p.m.

NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. -- The Oak Glen volleyball team went 5-1 as the Golden Bears hosted 17 teams from across West Virginia for the Country Roads Classic on Saturday.
Oak Glen defeated Cameron, 25-10, 25-8. Audrina May had six kills, Naomi Ayers and Laikynn Eckleberry each had three kills, while Mikalyn Balch had eight assists. Bryson Adams seven assists and Keira Vick four digs.
Then Oak Glen beat Poca, 25-11, 25-7. Mattie Carney had five kills. Zoey Caughey and Laikynn Eckleberry four kills each, Mikalyn Balch 10 assists, Bryson Adams eight assists, Kendall Six nine digs and Keira Vick seven digs.
Oak Glen topped Wheeling Park, 25-19, 25-13. Zoey Caughey had seven kills, Naomi Ayers five kills, Mikalyn Balch four kills and 16 assists, Caetlyn Six three kills, Bryson Adams six assists, Kendall Six nine digs, Layla Skavenski seven digs and Ellie Smith five digs.
Oak Glen won its fourth match of the day by downing Williamstown, 25-18, 25-23. Mattie Carney, Mikalyn Balch and Zoey Caughey each had four kills, Bryson Adams eight assists, Mikalyn Balch six assists, Layla Skavenski nine digs, Keira Vick six digs and Kendall Six four digs.
Oak Glen also beat Williamstown in the quarterfinals, 25-12, 25-11. Laikynn Eckleberry and Zoey Caughey each had three kills, Mikalyn Balch six assists, Keira Vick eight digs and Ellie Smith and Kendall Six with six digs apiece.
Oak Glen fell in the semifinals to Wheeling Central, 25-11, 25-13. Zoey Caughey had seven kills, Caetlyn Six three kills, Mikalyn Balch eight assists and Bryson Adams six assists.
Martinsburg beat Wheeling Central in the championship match.
