Sweep for Beaver Local golfers

EAST LIVERPOOL -- The Beaver Local boys golf team topped East Liverpool, 171-189, Tuesday at the East Liverpool Country Club.

Eli Stewart had a low round o 40 for the Beavers. Britton Hickman added a 42, Andre Wiegand 44 and Brady McNear 45.

The Beavers improve to 4-2 and will play Oak Glen at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Mountaineer Woodview.

BEAVER 177, UNITED 190

MINERVA -- The Beaver Local girls golf team topped United, 177-190, Tuesday at Edgewater.

Mckenzie Ash paced the Beavers with a 41. Mya Anderson and Addison Hoppel had 45s and Brenna Jones a 46.
