EAST LIVERPOOL -- East Liverpool’s volleyball team improved to 3-0 win at 25-13, 25-15, 25-15 win over Harrison Central on Thursday.
Cameron Conley posted eight assists for the winners with Addie Jones having four kills, Hailey Board three aces and four blocks, Addi Smith two kills, Kendall Martin 13 kills, Addisyn Boyle three kills, Taylor Loedding two aces and eight digs, Peyton Tanner six aces and 10 assists and Lillie White with two aces and seven digs.
The Potters won the jayvee match 25-10, 25-13. Katelyn Reeder had four aces and five kills. Kennedy Talbott had two aces and five kills. Ella Gunning had four aces and 13 assists.
East Liverpool is at Buckeye Local on Monday.
SOUTHERN 3, WELLSVILLE 0
SALINEVILLE -- Southern Local’s volleyball team shot past Wellsville 25-21, 25-17, 25-22 on Thursday.
For the Indians (1-2), Eliana Forbes had eight points and 14 assists, while Delaney Beadnell six points and 12 assists. Katie Kellogg had seven points and 12 kills, while Kiah Sloan had six kills and two blocks. Addy Martin chipped in six points and five digs. Kalayah Crute had four points and five kills. Natalia Lopez added nine kills.
For Wellsville, Aleena Owens had 11 kills, two digs, two assists, two aces and two blocks. Kaylee Kazee had 12 digs and two aces. Madie Drysdale added four digs, five assists and two aces. Kenzie Bosco had three kills and seven digs. Ella Betz had four digs. Jonnah Sears had three assists and two digs. Gabby Carr had two aces.
Southern hosts the Youngstown Defenders on Monday.
Wellsville hosts Columbiana on Thursday.
BEAVER LOCAL 3, INDIAN CREEK 0
WINTERSVILLE -- Beaver Local’s volleyball team bounced Indian Creek 25-10, 25-10, 25-16 on Thursday.
Addie Thurik led the Beavers with 12 kills, 13 assists and nine digs. McKinnley Ferry had 13 assists, seven aces and four digs, while Lily Schrieber added eight kills, five assists, six digs and two blocks. Olivia Opalenik had six kills and two blocks, Madison Poppelriter five kills and three digs, and Taylor Pease two assists, four aces and 14 digs. Gianna Congrove had two aces and six digs, while Leah Schrieber added two kills, two aces and three digs.
Beaver Local is 3-0.
The Beaver junior varsity won 25-11, 25-10. Makayla Jungfleisch had five kills, three aces and two digs, and Maddie Smith added two kills, eight assists and five digs.
Beaver Local will host East Liverpool Tuesday.
COLUMBIANA 3, LISBON 0
LISBON -- Columbiana remained unbeaten with a 25-18, 25-19, 25-19 sweep of Lisbon Wednesday.
The Clippers improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference.
Landry Smith led Columbiana with 15 kills, three blocks, two aces, 16 points, eight assists and four digs. Addisyn Dangler added 12 kills, two blocks, an ace and three points, while Keagan Pruitt had six kills, an ace, 11 points and 15 digs. Eva Waller finished with 39 assists, two kills, an ace, seven points and six digs. Hailee Gomoll had an ace, 11 points and five digs, and Kaydence Hammer added five kills.
For Lisbon, Alayna Householder and Addison Anderson had six kills each. Gionna Lenigar had five kills. Bridget Newbold chipped in 17 assists.
The Clipper junior varsity also improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in league play with a 25-15, 25-20 win. Sydney Schorejs had 10 kills, an ace, five points and two digs. Annabelle Church added six kills, three aces, four points, four assists and 10 digs, while Adelaide Garrett had two kills, four aces, 14 points, 11 assists and seven digs. Sylvia Rapp contributed four kills, three points and four digs.
Gracyn Owens, Kyler Moore and Kylyn Boyd had four kills each for Lisbon. Ella Cochran had 11 assists. Johanna Ford had 10 digs.
Columbiana will play at Mooney on Saturday.
Lisbon hosts Valley Christian on Tuesday.
