WINTERSVILLE — Ciara Call threw a no-hitter with six strikeouts and a walk as Beaver Local topped Indian Creek 11-0 in five innings in softball action on Friday.

Addie Thurik added a single, double and an RBI. Ally Wright had two hits and an RBI. Macie Bourne had a double. Gianna Congrove chipped in with a hit and two RBIs.

Beaver Local is 11-2 and is at Edison Saturday.

Oak Glen 5, Lincoln 0

SHINNSTON, W.Va. — Mattie Carney struck out 10 and walked two to lead Oak Glen to a 5-0 win over Lincoln on Friday.

Kylie Robinson had a home run, single and two RBIs for the winners. Nareah Heath added a home run and two RBIs. Brayley Lash had a double and RBI.

Oak Glen is 9-4 and will play Ravenswood and Doddridge County at Mylan Park.

CADIZ — Harrison Central limited East Liverpool to two hits in a 10-0 win in five innings on Friday.

Johonna Vantilburg and Addie Jones had hits for the Potters.

Tatum Fink took the loss with five strikeouts and three walks in 4 1/3 innings.

East Liverpool (4-7) will host Buckeye Local Saturday.

WINTERSVILLE — Adam Brothers limited Beaver Local to four hits in an Indian Creek 10-0 win in six innings on Friday in baseball action.

Mikey Druschel had two hits for the Beavers. Braxton Hickman took the loss as he gave up four earned runs with no strikeouts and no walks in 4 2/3 innings.

Beaver Local (4-4) is scheduled to play at Struthers on Saturday.

CADIZ — Harrison Central sent East Liverpool to an 11-2 loss on Friday in baseball action.

Braden Duke had a single, double and RBI for the Potters. Carstin Suznevich added two hits and an RBI.

Donovan Shallcross took the loss with three strikeouts and a walk in four innings.

East Liverpool (1-8) will be at Wellsville on Saturday.

Union Local 11, Oak Glen 6

NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. — Union Local scored an 11-6 win over Oak Glen on Friday.

Kaden Dragisich had a single, double and three RBIs for the Bears.

Luke Buckler took the los with two strikeouts, two walks and seven earned runs in 4 1/3 innings.

Oak Glen is 4-9 and hosts Magnolia on Saturday.
